Passover (pt 4 of 4)

We began talking about Passover, but quickly learned that each of the festival celebrations symbolize the reality of the Death, Resurrection of our Messiah–and the entrance of the Holy Spirit on the Feast of Shavuot (Pentecost).

In addition to that, the High Holy Days of the Feast of Trumpets and Yom Kippur represent Yeshua HaMashiach coming for the second time—this time in great power and glory, bringing the world to it‘s knees, cutting down the evil and laying low the rebels. (more…)

Passover (pt 3 of 4)

Yesterday I continued talking about Passover, and introduced the fact that all of the Biblical Feasts were type or shadows of a spiritual reality. What I am hoping is that you are catching the significance of all this . . . the parallel between the festivals and the prophetic ministries of Jesus that they represented are astounding.

Passover represented Jesus’ substitutionary death, and His blood that protects everyone who has faith in what He has done from eternal death at the hand of the Father. He shed His blood on Passover day. (more…)

Passover (pt 2 of 4)

Yesterday I began looking at the first Passover. And here’s the thing about Passover: the Passover established in Egypt, is a type, a symbol, and most of us recognize that. It is also a shadow of what was to come. It most certainly represented real and actual deliverance from death—originally in Egypt. But, 1400 years later, Christ brought the fullest meaning intended to Passover by Himself, becoming the Passover—by becoming the sacrificial Passover ram. (more…)

Passover (pt 1 of 4)

Over the last several years, I have been reading many, many studies of what we call the Old Testament. I now have a stack of tremendous reference books and commentaries and as result, and my faith and understanding have been greatly expanded. While reading some studies from Torah Class,” a ministry out of Merritt Island, FL, and the teachings of Tom Bradford, I leaned the principal of Passover. The first Passover was that dreadful night when God sent the final plague on Egypt that caused Pharaoh to loosen his grip on God‘s people; and it was that plague that resulted in the death of every firstborn child throughout Egypt.
