Your Enemies/God’s Enemies

As Believers and worshipers of the God of Israel, His enemies are automatically our enemies. But something we often forget is that our enemies are also automatically His enemies, and He will save us from them.

What a dangerous mistake we make when we side with those who openly stand against the Lord. This has happened in various ways over the centuries within the church; but recently we find many Christian leaders and their followers siding with the Muslim world and the Palestinians against God’s people and land, Israel. Being part of the body of Christ hardly makes us immune from such destructive error and rebellion, and in another post, I am going to demonstrate that principle to you in a way that is going to shake many of you up a little.

But on a personal level—as I said above, the enemies in your own life—are also your Father’s enemies. What’s troubling you? Who or what are your enemies? Is it a nasty habit you continually wrestle with? Cigarettes; Pornography; Depression; Sickness; Anxieties; Cancer . . . I could list probably hundreds of them. Food allergies; anger;  on and on the list goes. You find the one (or ones) that is (are) troubling you and realize that your enemy is your Father’s enemy and He has given you the victory over that enemy! Stand in the victory of that reality.

If you need any type of healing or deliverance, below are several verses that you can meditate on, praying them will help you. Write them down. Read them every day, morning noon and night. You need to drench yourself in the Word of God.

Not only does it build your faith to believe, it will remind you when all those aches and pains come, that Jesus took sicknesses and diseases with Him to the cross when He died. Sickness and disease were crucified with Christ on the cross.
