The Holy Spirit: Received by Faith

This morning I am going back to something I was addressing several months ago, regarding the Holy Spirit in our lives. First, look at at how Paul addressed this:

“Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the Holy Spirit as the result of obeying the Law and doing its works, or was it by hearing the message of the Gospel and believing it? Was it from observing a law of rituals or from a message of faith?” (Galatians 3:2).

My friends, this passage should just ignite your faith! “But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord” (James 1:6–7).

Have you asked God for this gift? Are you seeking the Holy Spirit? Are you continually knocking? “If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good gifts gifts that are to their advantage to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!” (Luke 11:13).

Satan can’t stand up to a righteous, Holy Ghost-filled child of God who walks in faith and obedience. Show me a truly Holy Ghost-possessed believer and I’ll show you someone who puts the legions of hell to chase.

“Father, send your Spirit! Fall on me! Baptize me with you Supernatural power and presence. And send me out against satanic strongholds with an uncompromising faith that you will prevail in today!”

(I send out messages like this each morning in emails, and if you are interested in receiving them, send me your email address and I will add you to the list: Mail List)

I do thank you for your gifts. It is your faithful and continued support that makes these messages possible.
